Pintafino Concrete Floor Set

The Pintafino Concrete Floor Set is a ready-to-use kit designed for treating cement-bonded and gypsum floor surfaces. With this set, you can complete approximately 80m² of finished surface.

PRE SEALER: This product minimally alters the appearance of the floor and ensures that the resins in the 2K SEALER do not cause uneven discoloration. This set provides a diffusion-open but highly water-, dirt-, and grease-repellent surface that is easy to maintain for all spaces. You can also treat wall surfaces made with hand-applied gypsum plaster or other leveling compounds with Pintafino varnishes. It is also suitable for varnishing gypsum floors. It has good UV resistance and does not yellow. Dilute the product with water by about 30% before application.

Want to tint the floor? In this case, dilute PRE SEALER by about 40% with water and apply the thinned product to the floor once. After the first layer has dried, tint the remaining part of the varnish (tint ordered separately) and apply a layer evenly with a trowel or roller. You can also add crystals, pearlescent powder, or other effect products; ask customer service for more details. After sanding, the floor is ready to be top-coated with Pintafino 2K SEALER.

The base varnish PRE SEALER provides a good opportunity to inspect the surface before the final varnishing. Sand lightly (P100 sandpaper) after base varnishing before the final top coating. This intermediate sanding results in a beautiful, debris-free, and smooth surface. PRE SEALER is an economical concentrate. Dilute with cold water by 10-40% on absorbent surfaces.

• Drying time: approximately 1-3 hours

Pintafino 2K SEALER:

A two-component, water-based top varnish that forms an extremely hard and dirt-repellent surface. Easy to apply with a trowel, roller, or brush. It can also be sprayed. It is recommended to apply two thin layers. Although the product contains no organic solvents, ensure adequate ventilation. Mild odor. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It does not withstand immersion, so ensure sufficient slopes on flat surfaces in wet areas and outdoors. The product must not freeze during storage.

NOTE! The mixture has a working time of about 60-80 minutes after mixing components A and B. Do not reseal the container after mixing. The reaction of the mixture generates pressure inside the container, which may cause it to burst. Allow the excess mixture to dry freely before sorting it as combustible waste.

• Touch dry: 2-3 hours
• Ready for use: 12-24 hours

You can enhance the floor's properties by applying an impregnating agent intended for marble/natural stone (available at hardware stores). This agent can penetrate even the smallest pores of the concrete. 2dl is sufficient to treat an area of approximately 80m².

Additional Tools Recommended:

• Steel trowels, e.g., Anza 20 and 25cm or a steel stucco trowel for applying microcement. For very light surfaces, a plastic trowel can be used for the final layer to avoid dark marks from the metal.
• Roller handle, e.g., Anza 54cm, and 10-15cm lint-free rollers, e.g., rilon or microfiber.
• Protective plastic, painter's tape, and cloths.
• Suitable containers and mixing sticks.
• A drill and paint mixer for tinting.
